Welcome to PantryPal ("the App," "we," "our," or "us").

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of PantryPal and any related services. By downloading, accessing, or using PantryPal, you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

• PantryPal is not responsible for unauthorized access caused by your failure to safeguard credentials.

You agree to use PantryPal only for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes. You must not:

• Use the App to upload or share false, misleading, or illegal information.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App.
• Use automated systems (e.g., bots, scrapers) to access or interfere with the App.
• Impersonate another user or misrepresent your identity.

Violation of these rules may result in suspension or termination of your account.

5. Features and Services

PantryPal offers tools to help manage pantry inventory, track expiration dates, generate shopping lists, and integrate with third-party grocery services (e.g., Amazon, Instacart, Walmart).

We may update or modify features at any time without prior notice.

6. Third-Party Services

PantryPal may include links or integrations with third-party services.

• Your use of these services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
• We do not control or take responsibility for the content, accuracy, or policies of third-party providers.
• When you connect a service, limited data may be shared to enable functionality (e.g., to place an order or sync your shopping list).

7. Subscription and Payments

If PantryPal offers premium or subscription features:

• Fees, billing terms, and renewal details will be displayed within the App.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date.
• Payments are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on your platform.
• Refund requests must follow the respective store's refund policy.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, and software within PantryPal are the property of PantryPal or its licensors and are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of the App without written permission.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if:

• You violate these Terms or applicable laws.
• You misuse the App or engage in unauthorized access.
• The App is discontinued or modified.

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting your account or uninstalling it.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• PantryPal is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind.
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the App, including data loss, downtime, or third-party service issues.
• Our total liability for any claim related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid (if any) to use PantryPal in the 12 months prior to the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PantryPal, its affiliates, and employees from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

12. Updates to the Terms

We may revise these Terms periodically.

When changes are made, we'll update the effective date below and notify users through the App or via email.

Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the new Terms.
